I do not pretend to think that the quality of my delivery is such that people would scramble to listen to me preaching. I'm not a sophisticated speaker. (I can't even spell "sophisticated" without the the help of my spell-checker.) Neither is the recording quality perfect. I'm simply a country boy, preaching at a country church, to wonderful country (hearted) people. I figure: if God can use the mouth of Balaam's donkey (Numbers 22:22-30), maybe He will be pleased to use MY mouth to help one precious soul who may not be able to make it to church for whatever reason.

This Christmas message is from the story of the shepherds in Luke 2. Just why did those guys, with the hard life they had, go out "glorifying and praising God"?
We know the motto that can be found on our nation's currency: "In God We Trust." That may or may not still be true in reality, but what IS true is: "In God we live and move and have our being," (Acts 17:28). This message is about that.
This message is from our Thanksgiving Eve Service. There were a couple of special songs, and a lot of wonderful testimonies of God's blessing and faithfulness throughout the year. The testimonies are NOT included here.
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ “This is the first and great commandment. “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (NKJV)
A map and driving directions can be found under the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page.
The audio sermons will no longer be found at this website. Instead, www.sermonaudio.com will be the site that carries them. You can search that site for "Balsam Bible Chapel". (I believe www.sermonaudio.com/fknoop is the actual website address.)
